Labour is doubling the money set aside nationally for fixing potholes - which roads do you want prioritised in Swindon?

Following the publication of a new national assessment of road maintenance, Swindon Borough Council has been given an amber rating for the condition of its roads after 14 years of underinvestment.

Now the Labour government is doubling the amount of money councils have to fix our broken roads. This means the council will finally have more of the funding they need to make a dent in the huge backlog of potholes and cracked footpaths built up over a decade.

That is why we are launching our Great Pothole Investment Survey. We want to hear directly from you about which roads, footpaths or cycle paths you want to see the council prioritise for safer, smoother journeys.

Together, we can push for real improvements in the areas that matter most to you.
