Celebrating in Catford

Celebrating in Catford I spent a lovely couple of hours at St Dunstans in Catford this afternoon for the official opening of a new African church. The Wait for God Ministry, led by Charity Adu-Asanteewa, has been meeting for the last year or so in Catford but today marked their official launch.

With a beautifully decorated hall and a fabulous feast laid on, families from across London came together to celebrate the opening. Whilst I couldn’t stay for the whole event, it was clearly going to be a huge succcess and I am looking forward to visiting again soon – with Charity’s warmth and enthusiasm, I am sure they will be going from strength to strength!
